Gerry Harrington was born in 1987.  He studied at the Crawford College of Art and Design in Cork City Ireland. His work explores contemporary obsessions with sex and desire; death, celebrity media and fame.

 

Harrington strongly believes in the power of Art. ''Art is primarily about the joy of being alive. It's about profundity and being able to connect to everything it means to be alive. This activity is a hub that lets you connect to lots of different disciplines  such as psychology, aesthetics and physiology. My work is about potential. It's about helping people to realize and reach their full potential.
